Effective Date: October 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of What’s the Risk?, including the website, risk-assessment service, results, explanations, and related content (“Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
What’s the Risk? is an evidence-based risk-assessment tool designed to help users examine online money-making opportunities, programs, courses, coaching, business opportunities, investment-related offers, software, and similar purchases before making a decision.
The Service asks questions about an offer and, where relevant, the user's circumstances. Based on the answers selected, the Service provides an assessment and explanations intended to identify potential areas of risk.
What’s the Risk? does not make the purchasing decision for you.
The Service is designed to provide information that may help you ask better questions, investigate an offer more carefully, and make your own informed decision.
The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing provided by What’s the Risk? constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, credit, employment, or other professional advice.
We are not acting as your financial advisor, investment advisor, attorney, accountant, broker, fiduciary, business consultant, or other professional advisor.
You are responsible for deciding whether to purchase, join, invest in, rely upon, or otherwise participate in any third-party opportunity.
Where appropriate, you should consult a qualified professional before making significant financial, legal, investment, or business decisions.
What’s the Risk? is designed to identify potential risk based on the information available and the answers you provide.
We do not guarantee that:
An assessment is not an endorsement, approval, certification, accusation, or guarantee concerning any person, company, product, program, opportunity, or service.
Assessment results depend on the answers you provide.
You are responsible for reviewing the opportunity carefully and answering assessment questions as accurately as reasonably possible.
If information is unknown, unclear, unavailable, or provided inaccurately, the resulting assessment may be less useful or may not reflect risks that could otherwise have been identified.
You remain solely responsible for your final decision.
Paid access to the Service may be offered at prices displayed on the website or checkout page.
Payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
What’s the Risk? does not directly store your full credit-card or debit-card number.
By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize the applicable charge displayed at checkout.
Prices may change in the future. A price change will not alter a purchase that has already been completed.
Refund eligibility, if any, will be governed by the refund terms displayed at the time of purchase and any separate Refund Policy posted on the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
The Service, including its assessment questions, routing structure, explanations, scoring or evaluation methods, text, graphics, branding, design, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to What’s the Risk? and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We reserve the right to correct or update the Service when such issues are discovered.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantee that the Service will meet every user's needs or identify every relevant consideration concerning a particular opportunity.
Nothing in the Service should be interpreted as a promise of safety, legitimacy, profitability, suitability, or financial performance.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, What’s the Risk? and its owner, operators, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Service.

We may update these Terms as the Service, technology, or applicable requirements change.
When the Terms are revised, the updated effective date will be posted with them.
